Gauge Install Instructions for Diagnostic Use (Sold Separately)

First, ensure NPT female threads on Billet Oil Cap are clean once the hex plug is removed. Install billet oil cap into housing without pressure gauge and using the hex head, tighten to spec (25 Nm). Second, install the oil pressure gauge with thread sealant (automotive grade) as directed and twist onto billet cap tightening up to two turns from finger tight. Check for leaks once engine is up to temperature. Removal process is opposite of install.

Over-tightening of hex plug on port access may damage the anodized housing.

Install the oil pressure gauge with thread sealant (automotive grade) as directed and twist onto billet cap tightening up to two turns from finger tight. Check for leaks with engine up to temperature. Refer to manufacturer’s direction for sealant set time. Removal process is opposite of install.

Over-tightening of O-Ring Boss plug on port access may damage the anodized housing and/or O-ring. Plug needs to seal at maximum 5 lbs ft with thread sealant. M113/K covers work with detachable stalk part no. A 112 180 07 10.

We’ve made the correct Mercedes-Benz banjo bolt with heat and tear resistant hose to tap onto on the billet anodized 1/8” NPT adaptor on the opposite end! This allows a direct connection to the oil filter housing or engine block cleanly and permanently!

Professional grade crimped fittings create a permanent leak proof seal! The form-fit banjo bolt clears the serpentine belt and surrounding areas ensuring safe operation throughout the life of the engine. This does not connect to 63 Motorsports Inc. billet oil filter covers.

Made of billet aluminum T6-6061 this allows a permanent leak proof seal and accurate engine oil pressure readings! Compatible with our very own Oil Pressure Gauge System!

To INSTALL: Ensure NPT female threads on Billet Oil Cap are clean once the hex plug is removed. Install billet oil cap into housing with hex plug removed to 25Nm. Apply automotive grade thread sealant (high temp) on Pressure Gauge and allow to set as directed.

The Oil Filter Cover can be removed and reinstalled with the Pressure Gauge using an adjustable spanner wrench until full stop resistance is felt (which is usually 25 Nm). There is no need to remove and re-seal the Pressure Gauge once installed in this manner.
