M156 Phaser Repair Circuit

Circuit Rebuild Kit (Both Banks) $1,199.99

Applicable to M156’s with any stage superchargers and/or nitrous pushing higher torque. Highly overbuilt for stock units. Storage friendly due to its corrosion resistant surface. For Stock or lightly tuned M156 please refer to Stage I+ Lockplates.

Includes 63 Motorsports M156 two intake, two exhaust replacement lockplates, set of pins w/ guaranteed fitment, and springs to complete the set in rebuilding the camshaft adjusters in an M156/M159.

After several iterations, logistical processes, and testing, we increased the strength of the alloy and lowered the Coefficient of Friction using heat and diffuse layer treatments. Stage II further preserves your M156 with its inherent anti-corrosion layer that is permanently bonded to the alloy. No virgin (uncoated untreated) quench and tempered steel alloy variant will out-perform the Stage II+’s slick surface.

Circuit Complete with Skeleton Covers (Both Banks) $1,799.98

Includes the M156 Stage II+ Repair Lockplates Full Kit PLUS Skeleton Covers. The covers replaces all four cam adjuster/phaser covers due to damage, out of tolerance or as an upgrade, with fully strengthened and lightened covers. Bundle with the full on titanium hardware to take the M156 to its most efficient state!

No virgin (uncoated untreated) ferritic alloy will out-perform the Stage II+ nor the Stage III+ Skeleton Covers when it comes to their strength, performance, function and style.

At least 20 grams of weight saved per adjuster.

Carries a non-transferrable Limited 1 Year Warranty. See FAQ for details.

Rebuilds Item 120 and 125 in the exploded view.The overall tribological properties of the plate are maximized in all aspects for a more robust set up wherever required. All our lockplate stages are one homogenous solid piece of billet alloy.

Nearly three times stronger than stock, twice stronger than the M156 Phaser Repair Street! Corrosion resistant and a slight friction modifier to assist with accurate timing events.

A relearn procedure may be required.

This product is not eligible for refunds. Due to world events, Stage II total build time is five to seven days.

Locating Device / Timing Tool is required to perform cylinder head work, MB Part no. W156589006100. Gaskets and fasteners are one time use and must be replaced. Refer to M156 Valvetrain Gaskets, and washers Kit for more info to replace these components while-you’re-in-there! Ensure you have a mechanic that is qualified to inspect the surrounding components and engine parts touched and replace worn components as needed or major damage, breakage, or worse can occur.
