M156 Camshafts

M156 Camshafts

Our COREX program applies careful polishing, servicing and parkerizing of each of the camshafts in Canada. All of our camshafts come with anti-corrosion, anti-wear, improved durability, and a strengthened ramp rate angle ensuring valvetrain life longevity. M156 camshafts are purpose built, special order sets serviced by Colt Cams Inc exclusive to 63 Motorsports Inc. Stage III Camshafts are WPC Treated exclusively for high strain and high RPM durability.

PREFERRED COURIERS ARE DHL OR UPS

Stage I $2,699.99 [ COREX ]

Inventory Status: Approximately 14+ days handling time upon receiving cores

A bump in lift, increased duration and overall diameter while maintaining zero clearance issues or the necessity for any component or software upgrades. This set is classified as a mild re-profile of stock camshafts and are DROP-IN compatible to all stock and unmodified M156. DROP-IN characteristics allow the ECU to self adapt without the need of a tune. Use of uprated Camshaft Bolts are highly recommended, Titanium or ARP.

Compatible with F.I. M156 (Supercharged)

Dyno: 392 WHP and 364 Lb.Ft to the wheels on an unmodified ECU and unmodified C63 with the MCT transmission. End user results may differ based on modifications and ambient conditions. Expect at least an extra 10-20 WHP/WTRQ or more with an exhaust once tuned. Camshafts must be installed on brand new lifters.

S1 Spec:

Lobe Separation Angle: 110 °

Intake Duration 223° @ 0.050”, 0.470” Lift

Exhaust Duration 225° @ 0.050”, 0.438” Lift

Stage II $4,399.99 [ COREX ]

Inventory Status: Approximately 14+ days handling time upon receiving cores

Minimum estimated 15-25 WHP/WTRQ or more with a broader power curve from the mid to high range. Dyno figures are highly dependent on supporting modifications. Minimum Recommended Supporting Modifications Apply.

Use of ARP Camshaft Bolts or equivalent is highly recommended.

Stage III $5,999.99 [ COREX ]

Inventory Status: Approximately 14+ days handling time upon receiving cores

All the chop without the slop! Minimum slated 20-30 WHP/WTRQ with the power curve focused and maintained within the higher RPMs of the almighty eight cylinder M156. Dyno figures are highly dependent on supporting modifications.

Minimum 490 WHP / 444 WTRQ.

Not for Forced Induction engines

RR II/RRIII minimum following supporting modifications are required:

  1. ECU Tune;

  2. Long Tube Headers with High Flowing Catalytic Converters or Cat-less;

  3. Brand new tappets/lifters (M159 Black Series Lifters Primed out of the car are preferred);

  4. 63 Motorsports ARP Bridge Bolts (M156 Camshaft Bridge Bolts with higher tensile/yield strengths);

  5. 63 Motorsports ARP Camshaft Bolts;

  6. Crankcase Pressures Management or Catch Can;

  7. 63 Motorsports M156 Adjusters upgraded with Stage III replacements.

Other modifications and adjustments required as directed and recommended by your engine builder.

STEPS FOR SHIPPING (After purchase)

  1. DO NOT SEND CAMSHAFT CORES VIA LOCAL POST e.g. USPS or Canada Post. Please use only Third Party couriers such as DHL or UPS to clear new Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Assessment and Revenue Management rules.

  2. Send in a structurally sound set of M156 Camshaft Cores (Bank 1 Intake and Exhausts Bank 2 Intake and Exhaust). Overly worn out-of-spec lobes will be returned and a restock fee will be applied on refunds.

  3. International orders: Declare the package as “camshafts for repair” with an insurance value of $50. Higher declared value will take longer especially from International transit for processing. Cores are expected to be damaged and in need of repair. Higher declared value items may risk seizure and further steps on unwarranted inspection for Core parts exchange.

  4. Any associated inbound Courier costs and/or fees (Import, Duties, Taxes) over $50 Canadian, billable to 63 Motorsports Inc. is the responsibility of the customer and will be directed to the customer.

  5. Upon receipt we will inspect the cores to ensure process-ability using our own M156 cylinder heads.

  6. We will ship your camshafts once done!

Camshafts that are beyond repair for any reason or consequence (missing critical components) will be returned to the consumer. Cams are not shipped to the customer ahead of receiving the customer’s cores. An engine builder is mandatory for rebuild.

Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the original purchase price. Some noise vibration and harshness may be noticeable with the higher stages and profiles.
