63 Motorsports Grade 5+ Titanium Bolts drawn and spec’d to replace stock Camshaft Adjuster Securing bolts (5 per adjuster).
Prevent detrimental damage to the camshaft adjuster/phaser assemblies. Out of tolerance assemblies will cause lash gear damage and/or fastener failure (See photo 1 and 2).
Reduces up to 20 grams per Camshaft Adjuster Assembly. Replaces the bolts securing item 120 and 125 in the exploded view of the photos. Only sold in a set of 20 pieces.
These are consistently reusable with a Maximum Torque of 16 Nm or 11.8 Lbs/Ft. The fasteners work BEST with brand new Skeleton Covers and will fail when installed with out-of-tolerance OEM covers out of the car (SEE FAQ). These bolts are not recommended to be used with OEM phaser covers.

Recommend the use of a 3/8” high quality digitally calibrated torque wrench (+/-1%) to achieve precise values and ensure lifetime use out of Titanium hardware. Torque in two stages in a star pattern. First at 11 Nm, then 16 Nm. These specifications have been developed to allow for proper sealing of the assembly without causing binding of the inner components of the adjuster.
Locating Device / Timing Tool is required to perform cylinder head work, MB Part no. W156589006100.
